American Public Television to distribute “The Herriot Way” to U.S. audiences

We have some outstanding news to share. American Public Television—a syndication company that distributes programming to U.S. public TV stations—just informed us that 31 broadcasters have agreed to show “The Herriot Way.”

The deal is for 29 months, starting November 1st. The 31 licensees are a collection of local PBS member stations, along with statewide networks, covering 24 states and parts of Canada. You can view the full list of broadcasters on the Where to Watch page. It is our understanding that additional stations can license the show in the future, if they wish. If that happens, we’ll update the list. If your area isn’t on the list, call your local public television station and ask them to pick up the show!

The show will also be available for streaming at some point, possibly on the PBS Passport streaming site.

I watched last night on one of my local PBS stations (so lucky to have several here on Cape Cod, including WGBH Boston and WSBE Rhode Island). I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience and place and inspiration!
